Grave Pots & Crem Vases with Artificial Flowers
Grave pots and crem vases are weighted or spiked containers, filled with silk flowers, made to stand at a headstone, cremation plot or memorial garden all year round. Unlike loose bunches, they stay upright in wind and rain — and unlike fresh flowers, they never need replacing between visits.
A bare vase at a headstone is a small, quiet ache. These are made so it never has to be: each pot is arranged by hand in our Bromley studio, weighted or spiked so it stays exactly where you place it, and finished with UV-treated silk flowers that hold their colour season after season.

Which Style Suits the Memorial?
| Memorial | Best fit | Why it works |
|---|---|---|
| Headstone with vase holes | Vase insert | Stems cut to length and secured, so nothing works loose |
| Lawn grave or open plot | Spiked cone | The spike anchors into the ground — our most storm-stable option |
| Cremation plot or memorial garden | Compact crem pot | Sized for smaller plots, with plot rules in mind |
| Flat ledger or hard standing | Weighted pot | A weighted base keeps it steady where nothing can be spiked |
If you’re not sure what the cemetery allows or what will fit, send us a photo of the memorial — we’ll recommend the right style and size, no charge.
Made for Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother — and the Words That Matter
Many of our grave pots carry a dedication — “In Loving Memory of a dear Husband”, a Sister, a Brother, a Daughter — and we arrange the flowers in colours chosen for them: their favourites, their garden, their team. Tell us who it’s for and we’ll make it personal. For fully bespoke arrangements, we’re always glad to help.
Why Weighted and Spiked Matters
The most common disappointment with grave flowers isn’t fading — it’s arriving to find the pot on its side, or gone entirely, after a windy week. Every pot we make is built against that: weighted bases, ground spikes where the plot allows, and stems wired into the arrangement rather than resting loose. Set it once, and it stays set.
Cared For All Year, Refreshed With the Seasons
In sheltered spots our arrangements often look beautiful for a year or more; in exposed cemeteries we recommend a refresh every 6–9 months. Many families keep the same pot and change the flowers with the seasons — spring pastels, summer brights, rich autumn tones and Christmas colours. Our artificial grave flowers page has our full guidance on keeping a grave looking loved all year.
Our promise: if a pot arrives damaged or loses its shape within 30 days, we replace it. No quibbles.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a crem pot?
A crem pot is a compact memorial container designed for cremation plots and memorial gardens, where space is limited and many sites have rules on size. Ours come filled with arranged silk flowers and sized to sit respectfully within a standard cremation plot.
Will a grave pot stay upright in the wind?
Ours are made for it — weighted bases for hard standing, ground spikes for lawn plots, and flowers wired into the arrangement so nothing works loose. For very exposed or hillside cemeteries, choose a spiked cone, which is the most stable style we make.
Can artificial flowers in a grave pot stay out over winter?
Yes. Our silk flowers are UV-treated and arranged for outdoor life — frost, rain and wind included. Winter is actually when artificial arrangements matter most, when fresh flowers last days and visits are hardest.
Do cemeteries allow grave pots and artificial flowers?
Most UK council cemeteries do. Some churchyards and memorial gardens have restrictions on container types or artificial flowers, so it’s worth checking with the cemetery office — and if there are rules, tell us: we can usually suggest a style that meets them.
Can the pot be personalised?
Yes — dedications such as Mum, Dad, Sister, Brother, Husband, Wife, Daughter or Son, and flowers arranged in colours chosen for them. If you’d like something written or arranged especially, just ask.
Can you refill a pot I already have?
Often, yes — if you have a vase or pot at the memorial already, we can make an arrangement to fit it. Send us a photo with rough measurements and we’ll confirm.
How do I clean a grave pot arrangement?
A gentle rinse with water and a soft brush lifts dust and residue in a couple of minutes. Avoid harsh cleaners, which can dull silk petals.
How is this different from a grave wreath?
A wreath lies flat or rests against the headstone as a tribute; a pot stands upright like a planted arrangement and is the everyday way most families keep flowers at a grave. Many choose both — a wreath or tribute for the service and anniversaries, and a pot for all year round.
So the Vase Is Never Empty
Every pot we make is arranged by hand, with the care we’d want for our own family. If you’d like help choosing — or something made especially for someone — call us or get in touch. We’re always glad to help.
